Banbury Gardeners have completed the garden design and build on the rear garden of this North Oxfordshire village property. The new garden has received the following works:

  • New Close board fencing around the entire rear boundary with Close board gate
  • Relocation of Oil Tank behind New Bespoke Garden shed
  • New raised beds in order to make onward maintenance easier
  • New Low maintenance planting to provide year round interest and colour with an emphasis on fragrance
  • Bespoke Storage system for Wheelie Bins
  • Garden Lighting using Low Voltage LED bulbs for evening enjoyment once the sun goes down
  • Gothic Archway dividing the courtyard garden in two rooms (Upper and Lower areas)
  • Recycled Block pavers from the former driveway laid in a herringbone style
  • New bespoke Lean to Veranda over the rear of the property to provide shaded seating in summer

General Tasks and Maintenance  Beware of late frosts and keep vulnerable plants and new shoots protected at night if frost is forecast. Don’t be tempted to put out tender bedding until much later on in the month, and even then be prepared to cover it if necessary. Deadhead daffodils and narcissi; give them a liquid feed or a sprinkling of bonemeal and then let them die down.
