Works carried out to this garden after the initial blitz have included a New Closeboard fence along right boundary of the garden, A new circular paving feature in right corner for a trampoline, A paved base in opposite corner for a shed base. Finally a new curved pathway in tegula block paving was laid around the perimeter of the newly turfed lawn. The Holly tree was in the originally garden.

Banbury Gardeners are pleased to be invited to design a steep sloping rear garden in the village of Bodicote, Oxfordshire. The present garden is dominated with Leyland cypress trees presently along the bottom of the garden and in the past a previous owner made attempts to terrace the garden. Banbury gardeners undertook the design and build of this garden earlier in the year. The garden is North facing to the rear but enjoys early morning and late afternoon sun towards the end of the day at the rear of the garden. Two corner feature patios were installed either side of the garden shed to allow the owners to enjoy the sunshine. The planting is predominantly low maintenance with evergreen and variegated foliage foil to give winter interest. Edwardian town garden makeover, Banbury, Oxfordshire

This Banbury town garden is located in an older part of the town. Edwardian in style with a relatively long narrow garden to the rear. Its boundaries are defined either side with red brick walls to 1 metre in height and a brick coping stone to the top. The garden was in somewhat of an overgrown state when we first arrived. The existing planting had become rather unruly and messy with  ivy (Hedera) taking as many strongholds as possible it had taken over the garden.
