Garden maintenance, Bodicote

Garden maintenance, Bodicote

Banbury Gardeners are pleased to welcome a new garden maintenance  in Bodicote, Oxfordshire. A well established walled garden located in a quiet spot in Bodicote village. A lovely collection of garden shrubs and bulbs. Particular interest is a Tamarix Tetandra tree located in the corner of the garden. This is usually found in a coastal location as it tolerates salt breezes. A medium-sized deciduous shrub like tree with arching, almost black branches, minute green scale-like leaves and large plumes of light pink flowers in late spring. Flowers for 2-3 weeks per annum. Longer term the garden will undergo so changes to make it more low maintenance with the addition of further foliage shrubs and a reduction in the depth of the borders. The use of a weed suppressant membrane and a bark mulch will be used to maintain moisture and prevent annual weed growth.
